Die Sarna Plastec AG bezweckt die Verarbeitung und den Vertrieb von Kunstoffen, insbesondere von Produkten und Komponenten aus Folien und Schaumstoffen. Am Unternehmenssitz entstehen über 2500 kundenspezifische Produkte. Sarna Plastec AG steht dem Kunden von der Ideenfindung, über die Machbarkeitsprüfung mittels Prototypenbildung mit anschliessender Kleinserie bis zur Serienfertigung mit einem jahrelangen Knowhow zur Seite. Aus Folien werden beispielsweise Business- und Firstclass Flugsitze, Blutdruck- und Gesichtsmanschetten, Luftbettkerne, Sprudelmatten, Abdeckhauben und Grossleinwände produziert. Im Bereich Schaumstoff werden u. a. Produkt- und Maschinenverpackungen, Motorverpackungen, Mahlzeitboxen und Bauelemente wie Armaturenisolationen und Laibungselemente hergestellt. Das Leistungsspektrum ist unerschöpflich und wird stetig erweitert sowie angepasst. Zu den kundenspezifischen Lösungen werden Standardverpackungen für Weine, Ecken- und Kantenschütze, Isolationsboxen, Sortiereinsätze und Zuschnitte angeboten. Nebst hochwertigen Polystyrol und Polypropylen werden zunehmend umweltschonende und biologisch abbaubare Schaumstoffe verwendet.
